this weekend our whole family participated in a little 5k/mile run to raise funds for several families in the city who are in the adoption process. it was so much fun to be a part of such a rallying event and it was a beautiful day. props to my man who ran the mile with ALL THREE kiddos so i could do the 5k. don't deserve him, but i'm thankful. here he is earlier this week: can you see him in the dust of the floors we are refinishing?

and yay for refinished floors! :) Are you doing all of your floors?
we are just working on the kids room upstairs right now. the downstairs has been refinished in recent years (though won't be long before they need it again), but the upstairs is carpeted and the heart pine underneath was painted white! it is a big job, so one room at a time...
So fun and way to go Ellen! Love that picture of you...strong and beautiful :) the kids are adorable too...hope they join the girls for the 1/2 fun run! Thankful for my run ing buddy...what will I do when we move? :(
