i'm breastfeeding graham about 8-9 times a day and i have a lot of currently and formerly lactating friends...what do you think about this? it seems a bit ridiculous to me...sure breastfeeding is not obscene, but why insist on posting pictures of it?

I definitely think we as breastfeeding women shouldn't expose ourselves or use it as an excuse to do so just because we are feeding our infants - there should still be such a thing as modesty even in things that are natural. However, I do think our morals and "rules" can have loop holes when it comes to such a thing as facebook. I've seen pictures that expose far more on people's facebook accounts and those seem to go unnoticed when they should be called out. I think it's wrong to label breastfeeding as "pornographic" because the motive behind the action isn't such. Although I still don't think that it is necessary for the pictures to be for the public eye. Hope that makes some kind of sense. Interesting article...
